Ash
Mrs Edgerton and Mrs Willcock are very excited to be teaching in Ash this year.
We will enable students to develop their independence and confidence in their own abilities. Through all areas of learning we intend to develop children’s resilience and enthusiasm for learning. We will give them a deep understanding of mathematics and develop their core skills for future learning in school. We teach children synthetic phonics to enable them to develop their reading strategies in preparation for the rest of their learning journey. Our wide curriculum also ensures development of children’s creativity and their personal and social skills.
In Ash class we hope, above all else, that they enjoy school, build good relationships and develop their skills and confidence for the rest of their journey at St. Bernadette’s.
