CHILDREN'S MENTAL HEALTH WEEK - FEBRUARY 7TH - FEBRUARY 13TH 2022
Set up by the Place2Be Charity, Children’s Mental Health Week is all about the importance of children and young people's mental health.
This year’s theme of ‘Growing Together’ asks you to think about how you've grown and how you can help others to grow, as well as finding ways to improve your emotional wellbeing and helping others do the same.
You might come up against some challenges or setbacks along the way, but it's important to remember that you can use them to learn, grow and adapt.
1 in 6 children have a diagnosable mental health issue, so it’s really important to help each other out when we can, and to find ways to take care of our minds. One very simple but powerful way to encourage emotional growth within ourselves and others is through kindness.
At www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk you can find lots of resources about mental health, as well as videos and interviews with Mental Health Ambassadors like Olympian Sky Brown and Doctor Who actor Mandip Gill, who talk about how they've grown.
You can find more advice and help, should you need it, at www.place2be.org.uk.
