Why you should choose St. Bernadette's

At St Bernadette’s Catholic Primary School, we are proud to be a welcoming, inclusive and family-centred community with a clear sense of purpose. Our Catholic Schools Inspectorate inspection (January 2026) judged our Catholic Life and Mission as Outstanding, recognising that Christ is at the heart of everything we do.

Our mission, “We follow Jesus,” is lived daily. Every child is known, valued and cared for, with relationships rooted in Gospel values of dignity, respect and compassion. Pupils feel safe, supported and encouraged to achieve their full God-given potential, and behaviour across the school is exemplary.

Strong, ambitious leadership and highly effective governance drive continual improvement. Inclusion is a key strength, with excellent provision for pupils with SEND ensuring that all children succeed. Our most recent Ofsted inspection (April 2024) confirmed that we continue to provide a Good standard of education.
