The New Parent App for Data Collection

When your child attends school we need certain information from you to fulfil our Statutory Requirements for the Department of Education and also to enable us to communicate with you effectively.

We have a convenient new way that you can share information with us about your child’s contact details and complies with GDPR regulations.  You will be need to download the Parent Lite App to access our new parent app.  You will only be able to see and change the contact details relevant to you and your child.  Both parents/guardians with Parental Responsibility will need to download the App in order to change their own contact details.

You can access the system from a smartphone, tablet or PC – anytime, anywhere.

What will you find in the SIMS Parent App Lite?

• Access to update your contact details, so we always have the most up-to-date information in case of emergency
• If you have more than one child at school, you’ll have access to information for all your children, from the same app.

Getting started with the SIMS Parent App Lite

1. You should have received an activation email, simply click on the link from your tablet, PC or smartphone to activate your account.
2. You can then login using your normal Facebook, Twitter, Google or Microsoft username and password.
3. From your smartphone or tablet, download the app from the Google Play or Apple App store - search for SIMS Parent.  
4. From a PC or Windows phone, login online at www.sims-parent.co.uk  

Please note that your activation email is unique to you and should not be used by anyone else. If you require an additional login then please contact your school.
