Oak
Miss Bishop and Mrs Taylor are very excited to be teaching Oak Class this year.
We will teach students to establish routines and develop their independence in preparation for the beginning of the next school year. Children will develop their mathematical ability and practise their times tables weekly. Our aim is to award a Bronze Times Tables award by the end of Year 2! We will also continue to learn deeply about our English, phonics and reading ability - pushing us to be the best we can be. Our wider school curriculum will continue to expand their knowledge and understanding of the world around us, offering expertise throughout the national curriculum.
In Oak Class, we aim for your child to grow into a respectful, honest and hardworking young individual. But above all, enjoy their time in Year One or Two.
